On the 10th July 2009, Corporal Lee Scott of the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment was killed in Afghanistan whilst serving his country as a member of the British Army. Lee left behind two young children and his wife, Nikki. Having seen the devastating affect the loss of a parent has on a child, Nikki went on to set up Scotty’s Little Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British Forces children.
‘Scotty’s’ was established in memory of Lee and all of our fallen heroes who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect their loved ones. It supports young people who despite having lost so much at such a young age show incredible bravery and true fearlessness. The charity’s funds are raised by unbelievable people who give up their free time to push themselves beyond what they thought possible, taking on their own personal challenges in order to fundraise. All of these people, just like Nikki herself, have one thing in common. They Fear Naught.
